Peach Mango Spinach Smoothie

Post Thanksgiving Smoothie Prepping: Peach Mango and Pineapple Blueberry

It’s Post Thanksgiving and it’s time to get back into the health grind. For me it starts with a healthy, fruit and veggie packed smoothie. I know it’s not a new thing. But it’s a new thing for me these days. In fact,  Smoothie Prepping has been my lifesaver. And it’s surprising how little time smoothie prepping actually takes. There are a few combinations that I love, but my top two favorite flavors are these.

Peach Mango Spinach Smoothie

The first, is this Peach Mango Spinach Smoothie.

I pre-package into ziplock baggies:

– frozen organic mango 1 cup
– frozen organic peach 1 cup
– organic spinach 1 cup and
– 1 organic ripe banana

(for your convenience, affiliate link:)

And then in the morning, or sometimes even as an evening snack I just pop it into my Vitamix with 1 cup of organic unsweetened almond milk. Similarly, the unsweetened vanilla is also good.

My second favorite go-to flavor is this pineapple blueberry smoothie. I pre-pack into ziplock baggies:

  • frozen pineapple 1 cup
  • organic frozen blueberries 1 cup
  • 1 organic ripe banana
  • 1-2 tsp of all natural unsweetened peanut or almond butter

Then when ready to consume, I pop it into the blender with a cup of organic unsweetened almond milk and blend!

Indeed, you can even pre-blend them and put them into a glass mason jar and freeze them. Just take them out and let them thaw in the fridge overnight and it’s ready to grab and go.

Prepping takes so little time. My husband and I tag team and get it all done under 10 minutes. Then we pop all the bags into the freezer. It makes things so much easier in the morning, and makes it so much easier for the family to eat healthy. We like to make smoothie bowls by adding fruit and chia seeds on top. You can even add nuts, coconut, flax seeds, anything you want really. Or just drink them plain on the go.

Most importantly, my daughter LOVES these smoothies. In the evening, we sometimes have it as our dessert. It’s naturally so sweet and yummy. And I love that it is dairy-free. The frozen banana gives it the nice creamy consistency.

In short, who’s smoothie prepping this week?!

Trust me, smoothie prepping is THE BEST! It makes your life so much easier and healthier! And it’s a great snack/breakfast/dessert for kids!
